Camille's party preview, goals and baking...All by july 24th!!!!!

This year has certainly gone by way too quickly. I can't believe that the babe will be celebrating her first birthday, I can cry! :( she's going to be a toddler. No longer a tiny baby. I DONT WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT!

The only thing I am looking forward to is her birthday party. I love planning parties. I wish I just had tons of extra money so I can throw parties for no reason but to throw them.

Also this will be one of the only times I can pick the theme and I wanted it to be very sweet, sophisticated (one year olds can be sophisticated, right) girly and whimsical. So I decided to go with a shabby chic vintage-y bird theme. Im pretty much making, food, decorations and invitations! Here is a sneak peak!

I'm super excited!!! I can't wait to put everything together.
Ive got a great menu in mind too. HopefuLly it all comes together as well as it did in my brain. Anyway....i'll give more preview as time gets closer until then!

Also I'm trying to get in better shape before her first birthday.  I havent figured out an exact goal but I'm going to do it.  Plus I think we might go somewhere fun for the summer and I definitely cannot look like a fat cow when we go :)

Here's the game plan:  Eat healthy and work out.  LOL It's hard.  Its been my game plan all along but can't seem to follow it.  But I'm really really going to try.  I'm going to do my videos on my lunch break and just eat better.  I'm going to start Two days a week with that and One day of taekwondo if I can talk my mom to watching the babe a little longer on one days *crossing my fingers* Anyone want to be my drill sgt?

  1. First: I love that you are making the invitations to the party so cute!!! I can't wait to see everything come together.
Second: Remember the first part to success
    is having goals.
I started working out and eating "right" in April. All I can say is that I feel fantastic! the things that I have learned is to not get down on myself when I "cheat" and have some candy or miss a work out... It takes time. Also just take it one day at a time and don't get hung up on the end results. just enjoy it, make it fun. I mean it is fun! anyways... I hope this made sense to you.
I am so excited I found your blog today! I cant wait to go back and read your older post and get to know you better! Don't you just love For The Love Of Blogs? I do!!! I would be honored if you would visit my blog and tell me what you think.

    thank you

  2. I'm finding your blog for the first time via comment love Sunday. I love how enthusiastic you are about creating the right life for yourself as an example for your daughter. I'm actually writing an eBook about it and looking for 20 somethings with different life experiences to answer a questionnaire! I'd love it if you'd contribute!

I'm not a mom but I'm sure that every year is just as special as the first one! Soon she'll be talking up a storm!

I'm not able to post with name/url on your comments, so I'll leave my site address: www.filleamericaine.com

  3. Those invitations are VERY cute.
Is it crazy that I've already started planning Kennedy's 1st birthday and she's only 4 months old. lol Believe I will cry when that day comes and I'm already having anxiety about it but I'm still getting a "game plan" ready and looking at ideas.
